Sai,

I've been reading your posts for awhile. Your first several posts were pretty incendiary and,in the context and history of these PNL's threads, justifiably provoked reactionary and personal sentiments.

At an earlier date, I would most likely have REACTED likewise.

After reading more of your subsequent posts, I find many of your points worthy of discussion. Plus, to a certain degree, I agree with
some of your sentiments.

From the hype that led up to the launch, many were led to believe
that the launch meant the site would be open for business.

Without phase 2, the site is of limited value and has been essentially a beta site for user input to help refine what is needed to make an idea like this work.

Getting user input to refine the model for a complicated idea isn't a bad thing.

Prior to the launch the dumpers like C&D, and SD already were covering their shorts without even making concerted efforts to research the company. However, after the launch, the "beta" site only gave credence to the dumpers arguments and undermined PNL's credibility.

IMO, the company from the get go should have been more straight forward in their marketing. Somehow, someway in their press releases, they should have stated that the site was going to be "launched" in phases.

So, in other words, I agree with you that mistakes were made prior to the launch.

However, as has previously been noted. PNL's launch was on the heels on KTEL's run-up, and all the pumpers were out in force and thus everyone was out to make the quick buck. Everyone said that if KTEL went up so high and just sells records what will PNL do with its lofty ambitions.

In this context, much of the attention drawn to PNL was unanticipated and unexpected.

IMO this context put the PR team into a reactionary mode. However, also in my opinion the PR team has learned from their mistakes. I base this opinions on my conversations with them.

Based upon what they learned, PNL has focused on implementing their business plan and making the site functional. If taking more time to make sure all aspects are functional, so be it. If switching from Proxicom to Rare Medium helped or hurt this implementation is pure speculation. The reason and the timing of the change hasn't been
fully explained. One possible explanation is that key people working on the job switched companies. Who knows? If phase 2 is launch this month, an explanation isn't really necessary since both Rare Medium and Proxicom are recognized companies with high profile clientele. If P2 is delivered, and there are further delays, then the detrimental consequences of the change will be worth further discussion.

Now as for pricing, the recent drop to below a dollar again IMO was the consequent of speculation that phase 2 was going to ready towards the beginning of August. When it became apparent that this wasn't going to occur, the share price suffered.

If phase 2 launches before the end of August, the share price should go back to around 1.75 If the site doesn't launch till 8/30, the price will suffer as August wanes but probably bounce to 1.50.
If Phase 2 is further postponed with or without an announcement, the price will drop to between .65 and .75.

Now if P2 delivers and wows everyone with its completeness and usefulness, this will do more to restore PNL's credibility and maybe the stock will get back into the mid two's.

If this delivery is done in conjunction with a CNBC spot as discussed, and PNL "defies all its detractors" then maybe will see a run to three (3) by mid-September. With the run, there will also be a number of people just getting out of their positions nearer their buy in prices so this effect will adversely effect the upward run.

If there are several big daily moves, we may get another pump scenario with a bunch of shady characters. However, pumping this stock will be much harder because of its previous history.

But if PNL, in conjunction, with a positive CNBC spot and the successful reliant, can also come out with strong membership numbers and some strategic, the price could jump to about 4 by October.
With real news and a functioning site, these prices may not be as lofty but they will be less volatile.

If PNL can build its membership (ie increase earnings), and become listed on the NASDAQ then there is real possibility of capital appreciation

Again, these are a lot of "ifs" plus my crystal ball is getting foggy. PNL has drawn a lot of skepticism and a lot of support. Many people have short memories. However IMO PNL will now only sustain and increase its value with the deliverance of a usable product/service.

Possibly in subsequent posts I will discuss the problems or the difference in launching a retail site versus a more complicated user/reference/service site.

Till then.....

Please refrain from spamming your stock choices on this thread. There are plenty of "cafe" type of threads where you can discuss the merits of your holdings.

Thanks,

z
