Like Funk, I am also using the Diamond SupraSonic II modem. Information can be found at this link.

Shotgun is Diamond's software for combining a Diamond modem with another modem of any other manufacturer, internal or external.

Actually any two modems can be used with Win 95 (requires Dial Up networking upgrade) or Win 98 (built-in).

The advantage of the SupraSonic is that if you subscribe to 'call waiting', the modem will automatically drop the second line on the fly, when a call comes in. You can drop it manually when you want to make an outgoing call.

I am not having as much luck as Funk with my modem as I have difficultly attaching the second line reliably. Tech support at Diamond are working with me on the problem. It is likely the problem is at my ISP's end ... Ascend options maybe.
