Hi Mark, I wrote this answer to Steve but also had you in my heart and prayers as I wrote, so please read it carefully. techstocks.com I will try to get back to you on this post. It is such a beautiful post. The Lord is beginning to show you the way by comparing and contrasting the efforts of man to achieve righteouness with the efforts of God in Christ Jesus. Your efforts, no matter how well meaning, can never produce righteouness. Jesus walked a perfect life and offers you that life thru simple faith. Your conscience and the commandments of God drive you towards that perfect moral life, but you cannot attain it thru your efforts. You alread know this, but continue to ease your conscience with good works. The perfection you seek can only be found in Christ. Emile
