Good Morning to you all. We have had the opportunity to submit a number of questions to Jim Speros since the latest press release of August 6th that have surfaced both from the internet community and e-mail's we have received. Jim Speros in turn had one of his Senior geologist's Michael David prepare a brief response to each. The four most prevalent questions which have come up are as follows.
1. Why did the drilling begin at Elliot High Ranch?
Kinross began at Elliot High Ranch because of a number or reasons including potential, access, depth to ore zone and so on. Elliot High Ranch presents the potential of an open pit style Carlin orebody which can be discovered and have tonnage established after a relatively short period of drilling it is an excellent high potential gold zone.
2. What did the results show?
The limited results to date showed extensions of the gold zone discovered late last year, implying an increase in reserves (presently standing at some 100,000 ounces) it is really too early to say anything else. Remember that this is only the start of the program and individual results don't mean all that much. Let's just say no one is disappointed, we're pretty happy so far.
3. How is Kinross managing the program?
Kinross is doing an outstanding job. Their goal is not to create results for markets, rather it is to discover and develop a gold mine.
It must be emphasized that Railroad is a high potential Carlin Trend project that has one of the best chances of containing a gold mine of any property anywhere. Since gold mines in this area are worth billions and turn small companies into elephants, its imperative that the exploration be carried out with this in mind.
4. What is going on now?
Drilling is now moving to different areas as an initial first pass. The program has only just begun.
