The excitement from Bolivia continues. Reports of increased staking activities along the Chilean/Bolivian border further emphasis the opportunities that exists at Samex. The property package acquired in 1993 and now being explored in 1996 is not yet clearly understood by most investors. The exploration (drilling) on both Santa Isabel and Walter will continue into 1997. The Walter drilling is testing the extension of the veins at depth as reported in the Press Release dated October 25, 1996. Santa Isabel drilling has been on going since late Sept. 1996. Results will be released upon completion of the reconnaissance drilling. Santa Isabel is the largest known untested porphyry system in Bolivia. The geological model is similar to the porphyry deposits at Butte and Bingham Canyon. The company's target at Santa Isabel is 1 billion tons of economic mineralization. The first hole drilled had a gross metal value of $24.65 over 339 meters (1,118 ft). With the previous results and potential of Santa Isabel it is unlikely that interest will sway from Santa Isabel for a very long time.

What most investors don't know is that Samex has a stable of properties that are extremely exciting. Drilling in 1997 will continue at Walter and Santa Isabel but also target several more properties. Samex is going into their second year as a public company. Share values on exploration stocks come from "the expecation of discovery". Samex choose all their properties with potential for bulk tonnage deposits.
