This link doesn't work for you? - sedar.com - that's the front door where you choose between Francais and English, click English and you get this sedar.com then click 'Search Database' and you get this sedar.com

It's never failed for me, and I've used it from several computers. The problem I've had with Sedar has been those stupid WordPerfect files, which download as gobbledygook if you don't have WP and aren't a techie who knows how to push the right buttons in the right order, which I am emphatically not. But the sedar site always works, I can't imagine what's wrong.

"Are Canadian companies, specifically a microcap or penny (assets of less than 7M) bound by the same rules as U.S. companies when it comes to filing quarterly reports?"

It's a long story (you were afraid of that, right) - but generally yes - any company listed on Toronto, Montr‚al, Vancouver and Calgary must file quarterly reports. Maybe as fast as in the States and maybe not, I don't know, and it varies from exchange to exchange anyway as they have quite different regs and the securities commissions are regulated by the provinces (very very stupid, imho - should be federal). We do have the CDN OTC, which is a lot like your OTC-BB, companies there report if and when they feel like it. Believe it or not, in a number of respects the reporting is superior on the traditionally wild and woolly VSE. I currently have bits of two stocks halted there for non-filing. That's not necessarily a sign of impending mortality, although it can be.

The TSE and ME are NYSE-style exchanges in most ways, and so are imho superior to your Nasdaq with its wide spreads and shenanigans. Not that I know a helluva lot about Nasdaq, but that's just my general impression.

"Who would it be best to talk to at SI about company specifics regarding Apple computers products ..."

Here's a Canadian with a 3-digit IQ, an Applenut, an addicted reader of encyclopaedias, and an all-around good guy;

What Canadian company are you looking into? You've made me curious -g-
PM me if you think it would disrupt the thread, but I doubt that it would.

...... cheers ........ marcos
