I'm a big fan of SCTV and Rick Moranis and Catherine O'Hara in particular. I keep running into R.M. I almost bought an apartment from him and now he is coming to my apartment building all the time -- he's dating a woman who lives here. His wife died of cancer so he's a single Dad. He seems like a very nice guy. One of the sad aspects of popular culture today is that so many great comics/comedians leave their best vehicles for the lure of movies. But let's face it -- there is far more good comedy on TV than in movies. Where are you going to find movie comedies written as well as King of the Hill, The Simpsons, or, for that matter, old SCTV's? DF
