Mike, CPQ is now, more than ever, a solid long buy. When the market gets jittery, as someone claimed, investors put money into the Big Caps. Especially the institutions. I know your feelings on cost cutting, and that is what CPQ has done. They are the world's lowest cost producer! CPQ's stock will continue to rise, well above the market average. We will see 100 before March. You read it here!

How about the WTO tariff negotiations with Information Technology industires? We are going to see exports increase from American Cos. like CPQ rise expotentially. The word expotentially is from many economists, goverment officials, business leaders etc.

Hang on Longs, the only bears we will see with CPQ will be a bunch of Teddy Bears! Soft and cuddly. LF

Regarding IBM rumors, the exec, to be clear, said he knew nothing about the rumors, not that he did not hear them. LF
