Let's a keep some perspective on the situation. DAX at close today is still ~20% above 01-01-98 level. However, HOWEVER, nothing happened with Japan / to Japan / in Japan since ... 1996 ... and the raw materials, as MG clearly indicated, are still on the way down.

I reiterate the question Berney asked: what about our turf, the tech stocks?
