You said it, dude! Ain't Amerika great ? I've been watching the overseas markets: - Asia down ~4%, Black Thursday in Russia; S&P Futures down about 10 and the DAX off near ~2.5%, right ?
I'm looking at my charts, salivating! thinking, wow - we blow it off today and I can jump on banks and brokers and drugz 'n other blue chips at great prices. Heheheheh - it'll be like taking candy away from babies!!! Heheheheh ;-)
Sun rises over the empire. Eggz-N-Bacon all over the land, tee-vees get switched on, people yawnin', wakin' up. Oh yeah, Asia down again, something happening in Russia... who gives a flip about Russia, anyway? Retailers reporting their earnings on the tube. Sales UP, costs (cheap imports) DOWN. S&P futures start to go up. I'm amazed. Mr. Market always amazes me. Amerika always amazes me.
The DAX starts to recover! Why, the Amerikans aren't even fazed! The amazed europeans start to buy their stocks back! Hell, the EU markets might even turn positive (making a "hammer" bottom).
There I was, Berney - lookin' to grab GE @ 84/81/76; WMT @ 57/54/49; PFE @ 98/94/90. Hah! No way Jose! We're movin' on UP.
