Zurdo,

Whether or not he's new, I tend to agree with Al in regards to the last set of messages on this thread. PFE has had a great runup this past year! If anyone on this thread or any other expects a company to double their money every year, they are fooling themselves. This stock drops on a day the market makes a weak recovery and the thread starts whining. If you are a short term trader or a day trader, there are much better places to be than the big Pharmas. These are buy and hold stocks. PFE has a great pipeline and will reward those who are patient over the next 2 - 5 years and beyond.

Pharmaceutical companies understand that they have to manage the stock price, but they do it through long term steady growth. I know this intimately, I've worked in the industry for 12 years. If your investing objectives meet this, then hang in there. If they don't, there are many companies out there that manage for the short term, and I'm sure they would be happy to welcome you as an investor.

Best wishes,

Dave
