Joe, Intel apparently has a strategy of investing capital in businesses that can help Intel either by improving processing technology (ETEC) or by creating need for increased processing power, either directly or indirectly. I would not think that this should be categorized as venture capital investing per se, however it does bear some similarities. Rather, I perceive it more to be investing in areas that are strategic to Intel. JMO Larry
