With the major over-hang of shorted shares cleared out of the way, Amazon.com is likely not to be nearly as volatile as during past attempts to rally. Now shorts can have much greater leverage to the downside as they dump shares on any attempts to rally. The pressure to cover is removed and the gun is primed for a nice retreat.

I may need to revise my prediction downward for the close next week.
