Barbara,
You said, "I have a solid source. "
Yes. SEC filing is a solid source. The issue is the interpretation from this solid source. Yesterday, we had another long discussion on whether the May,98 filing was floorless or not. The result was the same as many times before : no clear conclusion! That's the problem when self-driven motivations drive a discussion.
Anyway, let's go to a completely INCORRECT answer to another question on the list:
******* "Do large companies continue to do business with them a year after the Barrons assault?"
Less and less every quarter. *******
Why, such an incorrect answer Barbara?
During 1998, Osicom has announced working with NEC, Fore Systems, Transamerica, Adobe, Minolta, Sharp, Peerless, Object Automation, Schneider Automation(a France-based world leader in industrial control products), Hirschmann (a Germany-based leading supplier of "industrial strength" networking products), WaveMark Technologies, and then there must/seems to be others currently in the works!
NEC, Fore, Transamerica, Schneider, Hirschmann, WaveMark, and Object Automation were announced rather recently!
At the same time, Osicom is still working with others that it had started in 1997, i.e., providing its products to GTE, Cisco, and others. Osicom continues to go after sales opportunities with Brooks Fiber and others as announced last year. Nothing has dropped out. I am sure, you would not pick on Samsung of Korea during its current country's crisis.
Barbara,
This is what my concern is: "your best of knowledge" is rather misleading to many others. No more absolute statements please. Let's be considerate here! |
