Long time reader of the thread but this is my first post. I called the BCSC yesterday to ask them about when a cease trade order is issued (ie. how long after a company becomes delinquent).

There is no set period of time, but the answer I got was "not very long, it depends on how far behind they are". So it sounds like the BCSC uses their own discretion, and given the length of time that WRN has been delinquent in filing, I'd say the BCSC was very lenient in letting the stock trade as long as it did.

I don't own the stock, but had a friend who owns it recommend it to me back in the 80 cent range, then the 50 cent range, and so on. Fortunately for me I held off. IMO, there is NO excuse whatsoever for not filing financials on time, and even more inexcuseable is keeping completely silent about it.
