The Neogen test results are ready in about 15 minutes, according to the 1995 letter to shareholders. It also states that the industry standard is to culture samples for 20 hours or more. We may see some weakness while investors digest the information about the new sensor. I don't see the new sensor being available anytime next year (probably a few years off) so Neogen will still sell tons of their kits in 1997. In addition, Ecoli O157:H7 isn't the only dangerous bacteria on earth. Neogen also sells kits to test for salmonella detection on meat. The "Meat and Poultry Group" was formed in FY1995 and is expected to accelerate revenues and earnings. Rich
