Perhaps I missed the item wherein it was mentioned that Maxam has run some of Global's ore through their process; or that Global has run Maxam's ore through theirs. So can we categorically say that Maxam's process "...would not work" on Global's ore? I continue to believe there would be benefits to both companies if this were tried. EVERY additional insight into how these ores give up the goodies is essential at this stage of the process. Since there's absolutely no need for any sort of "beggar-thy-neighbour" viewpoint from either company toward the other, co-operation in unlocking the secrets of extraction would be of mutual self-interest.

Yo! Mr. Jensen... Mr. Runyon.... trade a couple tons of ore, and have at it.
