Sai:
I'm going to try to keep the conversation focused on the issues and not on personalities or motives.
Of the responses by others to your response to me, Todd Jensen made a very good point when he said that "...I don't think anyone outside of the organization knows the details of the switch to a new site developer. It is entirely plausible that if they did NOT make the switch, the Phase II release would have been delayed even more. Can you say why you know this is not true?..."
Without knowing the particulars, people can put whatever "spin" they want on this change of web site developers.
Here is another "spin" for your perusal.
With the power of hind sight, PNL would have hired Rare Medium from the get go. PNL may have made this realization a while ago, but may have been contractually bound to continue their development with Proxicom.
Or PNL may have not fully understood what was required for their site until they were well into it, and thus didn't realize that Rare Medium was better suited for their project.
Or...
Regarding my previous suggestion about key personal switching employers. I was aware that Proxicom had three teams working on PNL's site at one point. So your statements I have no problem with other than to add that teams have leaders...and I offered my suggestion of leadership movement as sheer conjecture.
Because that's all we have is conjecture.
Again, I agree with you that this switch of developers adversely effected the short term price because some felt the change at this time would cause further delays. These delays were already construed to have happened because at the beginning of July there was discussion as to whether P2 would be ready by the beginning of August.
But what one person may call a "mistake" another person may call a learning experience and as Todd pointed out that without the change NOW the site may have been further delayed, or worse- the site may not as capable as it could be for P2 or for future enhancement.
Businesses make mistakes or changes like people. 50% of marriages end in divorce. Companies have to make changes even if those changes adversely effect short term prospects, because those changes will lead to longer term growth. PNL's switch thus could be construed as an astute maneuver based on making their concept a reality because they found a better partner, rather than a change that undermines their credibility as you suggest.
Now as a trader with short term interests, you really missed your opportunity to make the big bucks if you missed the pre-launch run-up. If your intentions with your brash style and self-assured comments is to make the stock dip further so you can buy in cheaper and possibly ride a higher bounce with the news of P2's implementation, you're going to continue to provoke strong sentiments against you.
If you are sincerely interested in engaging in a dialogue, you'll qualify your statements as your opinions and weigh the merits of points of view that differ from your own. You should also make a concerted effort to try to get definitive answers from PNL or Zagoren as to what are some of the reasons for the developer change or any other issues you'd like to address
Now as for my comments regarding your discussing other issues on threads not concerning those issues, to me that is a matter of unstated SI etiquette. As I suggested there plenty of forums where you can banter about the merits of your choices like the "Cafe Society by Prosperous Soul", "the Doghouse", or "Society Anonyme". Be forewarned though that many of the people on these threads our shady characters. Actually from reading your posts on some of the other threads on which you participate, I'd have to suggest that you'd fit right in especially since your quite a quintessential "pumper" for the companies you own.
Anyway enough said for now.
