Thomas, Re: The Dale correspondence Thank you very much for the response! I've been digesting your comments and think I now have a handle on your methodology. I'm going to study up on the flags, etc. I've not spent any time with them as my initial focus has been on MACD, Stoch, etc.. In your "Sell Rules": If one of the rules (other than the passing back thru 75) triggers and you sell your position do you wait till you get another buy signal for that stock (stoch > 25, etc.) or do you look for others with a buy signal? I guess the first law of short term trading money management (preserve capital) prevents you from riding out the trade till it passes back thru 75? (BTW all of my back testing shows that if you were to wait the gains would be much better - but you'd be exposing yourself to a potential bit of nastiness) Thanks again for the time you took!
