Do you still get visitors from your southern neighbors expecting to ski in the middle of summer, in the Great White North these days?

As silly as that sounds it was true 15-20 years ago. Mississauga (west of Toronto) is probably further south than 25% of U.S. land, yet a lot of southern people thought we lived in igloos.

I still remember my stay in Richmond Virginia in 1979. A couple of co-trainees where really surprised to learn that there was land above the 49th parallel not just a large body of water, the misconception was due to the way their news stations showed us on the weather maps.

I played hockey as a youth. Fighting was severely penalized. It only survives in the Pro's because of ratings IMO.

Don't start on the VSE. It hurts to talk about it.
