Things look odd to me today. The SPOOS are staying flat or rising and the TICK continues to drop. I am seeing this on the 1 minute bar chart of both. This is happening in a background of SPX dropping, DOW dropping TRIN rising etc..... Have seen this twice today. Seems like someone is buying SPOOS in the hope they can jump start this thing. Won't happen. No one, not even a big guy can run this market for long. Maybe I am just over-reading it, but it just doesn't appear to be acting right today. -Scott EDIT - Of course, right after I post this the SPOO takes a 2 point haircut to finally follow the rest of the stuff.
