Robert,

Your post is embarrassing, misleading, and WRONG!

I have been the most prolific poster to this thread but am not the reason it's been a good thread! Read back thru it. Most of the real information came from others and there are many. I would list, but the number is far too long.

Members of this thread have found vast amounts of good information on other internet threads and boards. No board is better than another just as every post is not worth reading. I have made many that I would have liked to rescend but these threads don't allow 'delete' once it's been sent.

I do not have a direct information link to the company. Mr. Lau has been kind enough to talk with Mike Burry and I because he knows of this thread, our participation in it, and the large number of investors that refer to it for information. He also knows that we do not call unless there is a major concern. Deswell is being ignored by the market. It's not covered by analysts and there's a shortage of information about the company thru the normal research sources. Most of the information that is available is wrong. The internet threads contain most of the valid data available. This lack of valid information is one of the reasons Deswell is selling so far under value in relation to other companies with similar performance.

I do not have an Asia/China background nor a strong knowledge of the region. I am a midwestern businessman that, because of my investment in various HK/China stocks, have been doing a lot of research about economic conditions to determine the potential effect on these investments. Nor do I have the investing experience of most contributors to this thread.

And I argue that Deswell has panned out as a good investment over the last few months but the market has failed to realize this fact. They have performed much better than most anticipated and continue to do so in spite of the adverse economic conditions. The price falloff has nothing to do with Deswell's performance.

My apologies to the rest of the thread for the mistaken impressions many seem to have about the thread and my participation.

Ron
