Federal Court Dismisses Lawsuit
Filed By Ergobilt, Inc. Against
Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc.

BRYAN, Texas, Aug. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- On August 10, 1998, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas dismissed without prejudice the Ergobilt, Inc. (Nasdaq: ERGBE - news)
suit against Neutral Posture Ergonomics, Inc. (Nasdaq: NTRL - news; the ''Company'') in which it alleged that the Company published false and misleading information about Ergobilt, Inc. The Company
had filed a counterclaim against Ergobilt, Inc., and its wholly-owned subsidiary Bodybilt, Inc., alleging, among other things, abuse of process and patent infringement. As part of its ruling, the court dismissed the Company's claims alleging abuse of process; however, the patent infringement claim and several other counterclaims remain.

Commenting on the court's dismissal, Rebecca Boenigk, Chairman and CEO said, ''We feel very positive about our position in the litigation with Ergobilt/Bodybilt and are pleased with the court's ruling
in the Company's favor.''
