I trade 1K blocks of DELL, CSCO, INTC, MSFT using pattern analysis, fibonacci retracements and several moving averages. I've just switched to a day trading firm. Before that, I was doing all market orders at a discount web site. Holding period is about 3-10 minutes. Rarely see a profit over 4-5 ticks. Haven't had a loss over 3 ticks, except when I "accidently" bought DELL just as the market closed because I thought it was an hour earlier.
