Major Agreement With On-Line Service Provider
DENVER--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 13, 1998--Planet City (OTC BB:PINC - news) is pleased to announce that it has signed contracts with a major on-line service provider (OSP) to form a marketing alliance, on a non-exclusive basis.
Under the terms of the contract, PINC must get written approval on any news releases with their name on it. Planet City is expecting this approval within two weeks.
This marketing pact will allow the OSP'S members to access a special on-line site, being designed by Planet City, which will answer all questions about the year 2000 problem and offer a free diagnosis to check the member PC for Y2K compliancy. The member will then have the option to have their PC made compliant, and check all software for compliancy, for a fee of $49.95. All of this will be achieved by down loading Planet City's Millennium Bug Compliance Kit from the new on-line site.
The company is negotiating with other web based companies to form similar alliances.
Furthermore, the company has been invited to contribute to a new book entitled ''The Year 2000 Personal PC Fixit Guide'' by JD Consulting, published by Charles River Media, Inc. of Massachusetts. A free copy of Planet City's diagnostic software will be included in each copy of the book. A short history of Planet City, including internet information, will be published in this book.
