tsyl, first thanks for your reply, and everyone who took the time to reply...

and about your comment,

It just seems questionable to me that people on this thread actually trade the advice of others on this thread.

I did not and do not trade the advice of others on this thread. When I posted my questions asking for opinions, I was considering two contradicting courses of action. One is not to buy any more calls, and the other is to buy more calls and average down to $2.25... I have to admit, I should have stayed long and not got into options to begin with... but it's too late for this now... I am somewhat in a mess, and am hoping to come out of it without losing it all.

The other aspect of my posting, since I used to just buy and not sell, be it earnings announcement or a spectacular rally, I wanted to get a feel on when would it be best to close the positions I have. It seems that at this stage, I am going to have to wait till the 19th hoping for a blowout and split announcement unless I can come out on the 18th before the announcement with say a more reasonable loss...

and about the stops, when I bought my calls, it was a limit order, and I forgot to put a SL after the order went thru... yes, I know, how could I... well, again, it's too late now for this...

Thanks.
