Don, you are rather one of the luckier ones here. I have receives a brokers call, as well as a few others who have private posted me.
I am able to cover my call(which I have until 8/18 to do so), but there are some among us who are really screwed in that they needed to liquidate portions of their holdings to cover the rest. I don't know what to say to them...have a drink? that only goes so far.
The point is that we have been so supportive with this company, and while there were some among us that showed distain for Pete stating last Q he was comfortable with next years estimates, we have to understand that he didn't necessarly pin himself in the corner, the ones that come up with the numbers do....he has to give some indication if they are in the ballpark, and at the time IMO he firmly believed that was close...He didn't expect those banks to act like dinasours....or better stated tuttles(which are still in existance..... For better or worse, this company will survive, and those with the endurance to wether out this storm shall be rewarded. And those who are still short, don't cover yet, hold out for 6. |
