That's a huge advertising budget! For a company that many are doubting can handle high production volume, they seem to be saying "bring it on!"

A lot of what goes into investing in a company like AAPL is trusting the people running the ship. I believe Jobs would not be launching such a massive media blitz if he didn't feel sure he could meet demand.

They know the pre-order numbers, and my sense is that the quote about having "tens of thousands of iMacs on store shelves" at launch takes into account the pre-orders. I'd hate to see a media-blitzed launch with no available machines except for those who preordered. Ouch.
