Calvin Lee says "usrx may be in big trouble in the long run, I believe, especially because they do not have any research or support for adsl technology nor do they have any products that utilize the cable modem technology..."
Calvin, you haven't done your homework... you're just spouting nonsense.
Here are some 3Com web page links you could have found in about 10 seconds (I did):
  3com.com 3com.com 3com.com 3com.com
  3com.com 3com.com 3com.com 3com.com
Do you think the developers of X2 don't understand what limitations POTS has, and what might follow it? I personally believe xDSL is going to lag cable, but for corporate/political reasons, not technical ones. Consider how the telcos have behaved with ISDN... xDSL is going to have the same regulatory problems, and probably be treated (like ISDN) as a premium offering.
But, clearly, COMS hasn't forgotten either of them.
  Just my opinion, of course.
