Annex IV registers positive balance in July

Rio, 15 - The flow of foreign investments into Brazilian stock exchanges via Annex IV
was positive at US$607.53m in July see related story, after posting negative balances
for two consecutive months. Net inflow reached US$2.747bn above outflow which
stood at US$2.139bn. Last month's result has boosted the annual balance to
US$2.103bn.

Citibank continues managing the largest Annex IV portfolio, with net assets of
R$19.9bn, followed by BankBoston, with net assets amounting R$5.5bn. In June, the
