Oops, thanks Gregg. Getting sloppy. As Clark says, shooting from the lip with brain turned off!

Mike, how does somebody take over Qualcomm? They can only do so by offering enough money to satisfy a majority of shareholders. Gregg's and my shares are not going to sell for $80. Nor $100. $1000 they can have them right now. Thinking seriously at $200. Everyone else will have a price in mind.

Irwin, Andrew and co, who have spent their life getting to here, probably value their Qualcomm shares even higher than I do. If a sudden drop to $54, even if manipulated though it seems to me not a manipulation given the Nasdaq pummelling, tempts a whole lot of sellers, then that is their decision. If we value it so much higher, we should be buying it at these levels. If we just leave it to L M Ericsson, we can hardly complain.

So, who owns what and at what price will they sell? Isn't that all there is to it? Being a free enterprise loving capitalist, I think it fair enough if L M Ericsson buys the majority of shares for $150. Or $500. Or whatever it takes.

What's your selling price today?

Really? 51% and they can force the rest of us to sell at the offered price that got the 51%? That sounds unfair. What about minority shareholder rights?
