Someone who works for SGI can perhaps answer your question better than I can. My impression is that it would not have much impact. The company tells me they are paid a royalty but it is probably not very significant in the over all picture. I think Nintendo is important as a way to publicize SGI in areas where the company would not be known and it is a great way to demonstrate their chip prowess.
