Dave,

Have you noticed that it has become very quiet on this thread? Solv-Ex is not only not belly-up, but it is out of bankruptcy. Do you think that the shorts have seen the light, or have they just run out of ridiculous things to say? It has been over ten months since Asensio has posted anything on his web site. Maybe he has been covering his short position since October of 1997.

I agree with you that it is too bad that there is so much time for people to trade in their old shares for the new. Of course it probably will not make any difference, since all of the shorts have long ago "covered" their positions and they are simply providing us a "public service" by telling us how stupid we are for believing in Solv-Ex. Well, I still do believe in Solv-Ex and I will until someone can convince me otherwise. By the way, the shorts are going to have to decide with whom to side in the future. The Barron's article last week contradicted Asensio's web site post of June 26, 1997. The SEC was quoted in that article that the bitumen ("not bitumen froth") quality degraded rapidly. Asensio said that samples of the "bitumen froth" provided poor results. One of these has to be wrong. I tend to think the SEC is correct, because it follows much more closely what Solv-Ex says.

I am sure this posting will start the name calling again. Have a good one.

Mark
