sc, I agree with your comments on GCTY, particularly how unfortunate it is that we can't short it now. Reading the GCTY thread, in just three days of trading we already have some of the symptoms seen in other good shorts. After the FTC news today, one poster said that it was really old news that was being hyped "to drive the stock down". If no one can short it, who would want to drive it down? 30 days from now, maybe. Besides, it was CNBC, ABC News and the company's own press release that I heard the news from. CNBC? Hyping bad news about an internut? Yeah. Another suggested that maybe YHOO would buy them out to counter Lycos' recent acquisitions. Nearly every poster there says, at some point in the post, that "it should gap up at the open tomorrow". It's getting to be rather entertaining. GCTY will be back to the offering price within days, IMO. Bob
