Hi Mark, thanks for posting the link. Gee, wasn't Individual Investor looking for a target stock price of $30 on this stock earlier in the year? IMHO, I recommend investors follow their instincts and ignore the recommendations of most Wall Street firms.

Unfortunately, the small cap market which SSYS is a member is being trashed by Wall Street big time as funds chase the Dow and Nasdaq 100 stocks. Last month I watched about 15 "up and coming" companies that were highly touted by Wall Street firms during the summer get their stock prices slashed 50% to 85%! In the small cap market if a company hints of any problems then their stock price is going far south. I just wanted to share this observation with the smaller investors here so that they know the investing environment for small cap stocks is very different now then it was last year and very different from the
larger more popular stocks.

What makes Stratasys different from all the other small cap companies? Well it's nice to start off with selling a product that saves companies money (although this is difficult to quantify sometimes), uses consumables for recurring revenue, and a company that is the leader within an expanding niche. (I don't really consider 3D Systems to be their competitor). But I've seen lots (and I mean lots!) of small little companies with great products fall on their face. What makes Stratasys different from the rest of the small cap pack is their management. Scott Crump and his management team are exceptional and I believe this will lead to the results that will possibly make SSYS a $30 stock next year.

IMHO, too many Wall Street firms focus on company products (which really have a short life) and not enough on who is running the company. Perhaps this is why so many small cap investors get burned. I agree with many that this stock is showing a lot of promise for outperforming in the next 6 months provided the overall stock market remains intact. Gee, thanks for reading my unsolicited post! I would appreciate anyone's opposing view.

Regards,
David
