"What makes you think that? From what little we've heard from Apple, the iMac enjoys a very good margin. I haven't a clue what it is, however." I don't think there are any hard statistics out there regarding iMac's margin. However, the 10-Q clearly states that the introduction of consumer products (like the iMac) will gradually lower Apple's overall margin. I'm not saying the iMac has bone-thin margin, it's just that lower margin (even moderately) must be made up for with increased units. Andrew
