Yikes!
from the JPR website ...
Are you an independent trader who doesn't need the support of your broker anymore?
Would like to pay significantly lower commissions and make money from running your own business?
If you are an active trader or know a small group of active traders, you are probably ready to open your own branch office. JPR Capital has succesfully opened three branch offices and can provide you with a detailed plan of what you need. We can have you up and trading in six to eight weeks!
Interesting business model, I wonder how the new branches fare when "things go wrong".
The first line of that pitch is a laugh.
Don't get me wrong, I am totally biased; but still, entrusting your trading account to some traders that are "probably ready"....
I don't think so.
I like JPR's salesmanship though, the headline that they provide $10 dollar commissions when in reality they really don't at all.
At any rate, I have seen it mentioned in the MB chat room that the commissions are going to come down soon. I have no clue how much or when.
To address the question: Are all the Terra Nova brokers the same? I would say NO WAY!
Come to #mbtrading and see for yourself, then go to the other brokers' public rooms and see how they do.
There have only been a very few times I was so right about something so early in the game...

As far as the Terra Nova brokers go, there is MB Trading way out in front and then there is everybody else playing catch up.
Ya that's just opinion, but it is based on 8 months of daytrading with MBT. I think it will play out to be a fair assessment of the situation in the months to come too.
Obviously we all want the cheapest commissions we can get. I also want professionals running the brokerage, not a bunch of washed out amateurs.
By the way, there is an ex MM working at Manhattan Beach now.
Good luck with your trades.
