Ok bulls: 1. Asfor the book business, from our friends at TMF: A review at: esmarts.com places our beloved Amazon behind both shopping.com and b&n.com. Blasphemers! The rest of the site looks interesting, too. Cheers! (Glenn and Rob you may want to add this to the laundry list of less than perfect dominance in the industry for amzn) 2. As for the other business (whatever the hell that is, since amzn clearly has no direction as of yet): Have you seen the press releases this week. DO you think that amzn has deeper pockets and is more web savvy and has a better brand name than xcit, lcos, nscp, msft's msn, yhoo, aol and all the other e malls out there? If so, it's probably going to dominate e commerce and you should buy all you can. P
