Yep. We are due for at least a technical rally here.
I guess Japan and the rest of Asia will have to realize that they must coordinate their efforts to control the crisis. Japan must take a leadership role..

I think that contrary to Soros' suggestion Russia cannot devalue. While something needs to be done there devaluation ain't it. For one
it will make Russia's imports more expensive while at the same time the price of commodities (Russia's main exports), at record lows right now, would hardly change. The problem with their exports is lack of demand due to the Asian crisis. Devaluation on the other hand could bring social unrest and further political instability. NIET.
