You have carefully and clearly outlined the reasons why Ericy might be involved in some way in trying to keep the price of the Q's stock lower than it might otherwise be and might mount a hostile takeover if necessary to gather the Q's IPRs into its grasp. And a fall back Q defense against a hostile takeover seems to be wise. Perhaps the speculation here about a possible "White Knight" has been too narrowly focused on the likes of LU and NT. How about a company such as General Electric which has deep pockets and might let the Q operate within its family with some degree of relative freedom - or might not? Others? But as a practical matter, what good does all this speculation do? How could anyone here impact the results? And perhaps the rumors et al are more related to the option expiration next Friday than any other Machiavellian machinations. Or simply the current nervousness re Asia, Russia et al? Comments? Chaz
