Retired Early: you're way off. I don't want to be rude, for a change, but MU isn't making anywhere near the amount of money they need to be making in order to stay in the game. Their margins are way too thin... read an article on semis in the Jan 96 Scientific American to get an understanding of current semi economics. DRAM usually falls 30% a year, not 85%... and times are changing for semis, not just in a cyclical sense, but in regards to the nature of the business.
