All of these things are good arguments for the bullish side I agree. But nevertheless bear markets start when the economy is bright and bull markets start usually when the economy is still in recession. The market usually acts as a discounting mechanism. Hard to argue with Buffet. 0n the other hand hard to think that his silver purchase has been that smart - but may look good over the long term As they say 'it's what makes market', for every buyer there's a seller, and all the other cliches.
