The pattern for Magra is always a little different. It's always hard to say where the stock should be purchased at. Magra, in my opinion is a very good play. One of the main problems with the play is the constant gap between the bid and the ask. It's usually about 5% or more and it's hard to purchase at less than the ask price since it is an OTC stock.

The company that tried to push the stock to me in late 1996 is a Toronto, Ontario based securities company. It seems it promotes in two stages. First it introduces the stock to new clients. Maybe just an insignificant of shares are bought by each individual. Enough people buy in to make a small difference in the value. Once the small increase is achieved they'll go back and pull as much capital from the individuals on the second stage to make the stock jump the greatest amount. The customer problably gets excited by the limited amount of money that they made on the first purchase, and during the second phase sinks heaps of capital in for "the big gain". Although - BEWARE! Once they stop promoting the values dies, fast.

It's too bad people get caught by these promoters, but it is very legal. It's also very predictable if you watch the volume. Who knows Magra might not even be a "real" company. They're the ones that are most likely hiring the promoters.

Talk to you soon G,

Mr. Campbell
