>> I don't know why I just bought C$CO. Somebody smack me upside the head!<<
yeah, I just took a look at the CSCO day chart. It's straight down...you were thinking of a slight turnaround today in the market?
CSCO seems to have bottomed out in a range along with DELL, MSFT.
>>Look at those disk drive co's. I never envisioned the day when I could make more $ buying disk drives as opposed to M$FT, DELL, LU, C$CO, etc.<<
I wouldn't get carried away. It's only for a few days to a week.
FWIW, around where I work, we've been buying disk storage systems by the cratefull. Every few months it seems like storage capacity doubles. We now have terabyte storage capacity. 2-3 years ago, everybody's problem was getting more disk space. Now everybody has too much. Won't last though. I guess the disk makers are coming out with really good products and that's part of why their picking up.
Anotherthing, I think the quality has picked up. We use to get 50% breakdowns with Seagate stuff. Now, everything seems to work well.

This is a surprise to me: Article from TSC just came out about CIENA.
...Lucent won the 16-channel business, an AT&T spokesman said in an interview this morning.
I guess, there is still a "connection" between LU and AT&T due to the spin-off. Are you buying any more CIEN? If so what's a good price? |
