Absolutely Correct :-( nothing new, but how about this little buried tidbit: Reduced expense levels (of R&D) are largely attributable to the Company's keepered media development program, which was substantially completed in 1997. No more KM R&D needed because its ready; just need a buyer, but at the same time Ampex spent $2.9M on Micronet R&D. Is there a possibility that Ampex is working on a combined RAID/DST system for video that is incorporating KM?? Maybe I'm just grasping for straws, but in these dog-days of summer it beats watching the grass wilt. Sal
