Thanks for the lookup on the Russian Market.

Makes the immediate eco impact seem silly doesn't it.

However, as with China, Asia, and other nations, the continued expanding market in foreign countries is factored into the growth of our own equities in the USA. Without the new customers for goods and even services, the EPS on the multinational companies based here will dwindle.
So they are important in a longer time span, but the media has to have something to fill the programming day.
