I wonder if the market makers are also having a hand at holding the stock down. If they are anticipating a huge pop after earnings on huge volume, it might make sense for them to try to hold the price down for now, especially with the low volume right now. This will also trick a lot of August call holders to close their positions now thinking they might expire worthless next Friday. Any thoughts about this scenario? Dell-icious
