Obewon: Cendant Software could very logically be split into games units and educational units. There may be even further divisions which would make good sense. A company which focused on games would probably be more readily willing and able to buy the games unit than to buy the whole thing. The same argument goes for the other units. Each buying entity would be "consolidating" without diversifying.

I believe that Cendant Software will stay together only if there is an IPO.

Regarding MSFT: What products would have sales enhanced if bundled with CD software that would justify the cost of the acquisition.
