Lisa..this is really exciting. I've been into options for so long that I'm really not into taking any home for more than 1 day. The index options are perfect for me, because of the large volume, relatively smaller spreads, and huge jumps intraday. While the market was making gains, I didn't really have any reason to get into index options because I was doing okay with stocks, but now that the market is so very volatile with a tendency to end to the downside, going long is not the best way any longer. It was a natural transition for me since I spend the day in front of the computer charting, scanning and following ticks anyhow. So I just chart the OEX, SPX just like I used to chart MSPG, AMZN, and ELNK.. I still haven't tried my hand on the nasdaq 100 and I'll wait a while to try my hand in those.
