1. Because in the long run markets are efficient. They tell you the true story.

2. Because greed, ignorance, and insisting that the market is wrong, yields the irrational morons, what they deserve.

1/2 of the blame rest on the fraudulent or incapable operator, the other 1/2 belongs to the equally incapable investor/speculator, which unknowinly, is a fraud to himself/herself because he/she insists on his/her ways.
